Passionate Wine Montesco Punta Negra Pinot Noir, Tupungato, Argentina 2021
The red 2021 Montesco Punta Negra was produced with Pinot Noir from San Pablo in Tunuyán, from a 15-year-old vineyard at 1,500 meters in altitude on alluvial, sand and limestone soils. It fermented in concrete with indigenous yeasts and matured in a 70-year-old foudre for two winters. It's 13.1% alcohol, with good ripeness, freshness and balance, serious, varietal and tasty, with very very fine tannins. It has finesse and elegance. Very good value. 3,000 bottles produced. This was very recently bottled as it had extended aging in foudre.
