"Apartado is a selection of the best blocks of chardonnay in Gualtallary (80% of the blend) and El Cepillo (20%), aged with its lees for a year in oak barrels (half new). The influence of the mountain breezes is clear in this white with its fresh and juicy acidity and the mineral flavors that move in a rough, almost savage texture. There's a trick in this wine—30% of the final blend comes from the Apartado sparkling chardonnay bases—wines with a tension and verticality that rivals the other 70%, which is lush and round. A delicious combination in one of the most original whites in Argentina today."
