Llopart Original 1887 Gran Reserva Brut Nature Corpinnat, Penedes, Spain 2011

This sparkling wine of Cavas Llopart passes through the palate pleasantly and swiftly, with a well integrated mousse and a steely acidity. There is creaminess, notes of aromatic herbs, a dash of chamomile and chinotto, remembrances of white flowers and notes of puff pastry. This Corpinnat organic sparkling wine is dry, textured and fresh, with an elegantly bitter, slightly mineral finish.
