2019 | Melka 'Metisse' Martinez Vineyard | Napa Valley

The fifth vintage from this vineyard located on Pritchard Hill at 1200 feet in elevation above Oakville. Melka continues to strive to craft wines they love with the three Bordeaux varietals from this particular site. A fruit profile of dark cherry and plum, with tobacco, black licorice and cola, all leaping from the glass. The wine is iron-rich, extremely lush and vibrant showing incredible depth with licorice, spice and minerality dominating the palate. The wine carries through with a very long finish that continues to linger and begs you to revisit for another sip.
