Koehler-Ruprecht Spatburgunder Kabinett Trocken, Pfalz, Germany 2021

Sourced from a mix of sites in Kallstadt and one vineyard in Bad Dürkheim where the soils are light and sandy. The grapes were handpicked, destemmed and barrel-aged for about 18 months. With a delicate nose of red flowers and cherries, the palate is fresh and vibrant, with a melange of red fruits (think plums, crunchy cranberries and raspberries, strawberry compote) balanced with a savory spice on the finish.
