Frecciarossa Giorgio Odero Pinot Nero Oltrepo Pavese, Lombardy, Italy 2018

On the nose it is intense, with notes of spices, ripe berries, peculiar balsamic overtones (pine and sage) and a closing note of Seville orange. Very elegant and balsamic in the mouth and extremely drinkable. Its beautiful acidity invites to drink more than a glass or two. Its aromatic complexity and the tannic silkiness are of such a high profile that it compares with the best wines of Burgundy.
