This excellent wine from the Cote du Py has the fundamental minerality and the vibrancy we expect from this great site. Packed with wild berry fruit, but also notes of licorice and wild herbs. Impressive concentration on the medium-bodied palate, and the very long, compact finish is very energetic. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.

The 2022 Morgon Côte du Py has another impressive and engaging nose from Godard: beautifully defined and focused, predominantly red fruit mixed with Japanese nori and hints of pressed flowers. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins, bright red fruit, superb tension and a touch of spice toward the finish. Very "complete" and very enticing, this is an outstanding Côte du Py.
