Ca' del Baio 'Asili' Riserva, Barbaresco DOCG, Italy 2017

Wonderful, bright aromas of strawberries and fresh flowers with sliced lemons. Potpourri and tangerines, too. It’s full-bodied with super structure and density, yet remains vivid and polished. The firm, polished tannins go on for minutes. Great wine here and just starting to show its magic. Impressive now, but better in 2025 and onwards.
