Albert Boxler Pinot Blanc Reserve 2021
The 2021 Pinot Blanc is from granitic vineyards around Niedermorschwihr, including a parcel of Auxerrois planted in 1943 and 1946. A gentle note of ripe, yellow pear rises from the glass, framed with lemon. The palate is bright and slender but comes with a lovely, zesty concentration that attests to 2021’s freshness. The finish is bone-dry and rather vividly zesty for Pinot Blanc.
